Hi @npz123,
Welcome to HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
How to do a hard reset on your printer
- With the cartridges still installed, power down the printer and then unplug the power cord from the wall.
- Wait for a minute, then plug the printer back in and power it back up. Wait for the cartridges to center and then try printing again.
- Touch or swipe down the tab at the top of the screen to open the dashboard on the printer control panel
- Select “Setup” and then select “Printer Maintenance”
- Select “Restore” and then select “Restore Factory Defaults”
- A message appears stating that the factory defaults will be restored.
- Select “Restore” to finish the reset process.
I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.

Hi @npz123,
Thank you for your response,
Yes, performing a factory reset erases all the settings and data on the printer, including network settings, and you will need to set up the printer again from scratch.
I hope this helps.
