HP OfficeJet Pro 6978 All-in-One Printer

I own the HP OfficeJet Pro 6978. I’m wanting to print on card stock that says it has a weight of 230 grams. The card stock instruction says to check your printer to see if it can print on this particular card stock and I can’t seem to find my owner manual anywhere. Does anyone happen to know if this card stock will print with this printer? Also, does anyone know the heaviest weight card stock this printer can print on?

Also, can someone explain to me how to find my printer operating system?

Welcome to the HP Community Forum.

The 230 gsm card stock is too heavy for the printer - not supported.

Printer supports "HP Card Paper" to 200 gsm / 110lb Index"

Operating System -

Your printer does not have an Operating System, at least not one you would recognize.

The Operating System / version used with the printer comes from the computer or device you are using to connect to the printer.

For example, if you have a Windows machine and you are running Windows 10, software and applications you run when using the printer must be compatible with Windows 10.
