Nothing your web site has helps me.

The HP Smart works fine but the WINDOWS PC no longer can print due to drivers unvailable.

Nothing is helping me on  your web site at all and I am beyond frustrated.

I understand your frustration. Here are the steps to troubleshoot and resolve the driver issue for your HP OfficeJet Pro 8020 on Windows 10:

Step 1: Uninstall the Printer Drivers

  1. Open Device Manager:
    • Press Win + X and select Device Manager.
  2. Uninstall the Printer:
    • Find the printer under "Printers" or "Print queues".
    • Right-click on the HP OfficeJet Pro 8020 and select Uninstall device.
    • Check the option to delete the driver software for this device and confirm.

Step 2: Remove the Printer from Devices and Printers

  1. Open Control Panel:
    • Press Win + R, type control, and press Enter.
  2. Go to Devices and Printers:
    • Click on "Devices and Printers".
  3. Remove the Printer:
    • Right-click on the HP OfficeJet Pro 8020 and select Remove device.

Step 3: Clean Up Old Drivers

  1. Open Print Management:
    • Press Win + R, type printmanagement.msc, and press Enter.
  2. Remove Drivers:
    • Expand "Print Servers" > "Your PC" > "Drivers".
    • Right-click on the HP OfficeJet Pro 8020 driver and select Remove Driver Package.

Step 4: Restart Your Computer

  • Restart your computer to ensure all changes take effect.

Step 5: Download and Install the Latest Drivers

  1. Visit the HP Support Website:
    • Go to the HP Customer Support - Software and Driver Downloads page.
  2. Identify Your Printer:
    • Enter "HP OfficeJet Pro 8020" and select your specific model.
  3. Select Your Operating System:
    • Ensure Windows 10 (64-bit) is selected.
  4. Download the Full Feature Software:
    • Download the "HP OfficeJet Pro 8020 All-in-One Printer series Full Feature Software and Driver".
  5. Install the Driver:
    • Run the downloaded file and follow the on-screen instructions to complete the installation.

Step 6: Add the Printer Again

  1. Open Settings:
    • Press Win + I to open Settings.
  2. Go to Devices:
    • Select "Devices" > "Printers & scanners".
  3. Add a Printer:
    • Click on "Add a printer or scanner".
    • Select your HP OfficeJet Pro 8020 from the list and follow the prompts to complete the setup.

Step 7: Test the Printer

  • Try printing a test page to ensure the printer is working correctly.
