I need to gain access to my printer but it says locked out by admin.  I've never put in credentials so I have no idea why this is going on.  Help!

I understand that your printer is locked, I am glad to assist you.

You might have to reset the printer to fix this issue.

I am sending you a private message with the steps to reset the printer. Please check the mailbox icon at the top-right corner of this screen.

Is the printer requesting an administrator password?

When I attempted to change the wifi settings, that option was locked by the person who setup the printer. I don’t know how that happened.

I understand the printer is locked with an administrator password.

 

We can perform a factory defaults on the printer to resolve the issue

  • The reset instructions are specific for your printer and performing those steps on a different printer may corrupt the device.
  • I've sent you a private message with reset instructions, follow the reset instruction to perform a full reset and re-initialize the printer.
