I need a driver for HP OfficeJet Pro 8100 for macOS 15.1.1 Sequoia

The HP easy start tool can't find a suitable driver.

Details:

macOS Sequoia 15.1.1
Apple M4 Mac mini
HP OfficeJet Pro 8100 (printer only, no scanner)
This printer wored just fine on my old iMac running macOS 12.7.6 Monterey

if you did an in-place upgrade to 15.x then the old drivers are still there. Go to printers and scanners and the "-" to remove the 8100. Then have Mac search for a printer. It should find the printer on your network and then look for the existing driver and find it.

If the drivers are missing then you may need to edit the install script as described by jtashman here

Secure AirPrint may need to be enabled as discussed here

The Mac mini is new and came with Sequoia installed - so no old drivers in place.
