HP OfficeJet Pro 8124e

I have an HP OfficeJet Pro 8122e printer. The printer is connected via a LAN (using a UTP cable), is correctly installed, and has a manually assigned IP address. It is visible and configurable via its web interface. Everything appears normal; however, when I try to print anything—for example, a test page—absolutely nothing gets printed. In the `C:\Windows\System32\spool\PRINTERS` directory, `*.spl` and `*.shd` files (along with some `*.tmp` files) appear briefly; after a short while, the system deletes the `*.spl` and `*.shd` files, leaving only the `*.tmp` files behind.

Can you help me?

Thank you.

Hi @Mlady

1. You may need to install some printer drivers like the next:

2. After installing drivers then Restart your computer.

3. When restart you need to add printer, click on:

  • Windows > Settings > Printers > Add device button
  • ferRX_0-1793085555315.png

* Click YES   to say thank you,

* Click Accepted as Solution when question is answered.
