Is there a fix to the problem of my HP Officejet Pro 8600 not working with my iMac OS 15.3.2.

The HP Officejet Pro 8600 e-All-in-One Printer - N911a supports up to MacOS 15. 

You can however, use Airprint - About AirPrint - Apple Support
AirPrint is a built-in printing solution for Mac, iPhone, and iPad. You can print from most apps that have a print feature.
