HP Officejet Pro 8620 e-All-in-One Printer

Hi,

We have a OfficeJet Pro 8620 (SN: [Personal Information Removed]) We purchased ink that is locked to a different region. We didn't realize that when we purchased the cartridges. We need our printer region settings unlocked so that we may use the ink we've purchased. We are happy with the HP brand and would hate to move aware from it over this. The printer belongs to the CEO of the company. Hopefully HP Support can help.

Hi @MARC-IT,

Welcome to the HP Support Community

I'd like to help!

I understand you moved and the printer is not accepting the new region cartridges.

We need to perform a regional reset on the printer to resolve this issue.

The reset instructions are specific for your printer and performing those steps on a different printer may brick the device.

I've sent you a private message with reset instructions, follow the reset instructions to perform a full reset and re-initialize the printer.

In order to access your private messages, click the private message icon on the upper right corner of your HP Support Community profile, next to your profile Name or simply click on this link.

Hope this helps! Keep me posted.

Please click “Accept as Solution” if you feel my post solved your issue, it will help others find the solution. Click the “Yes" on the bottom right to say “Thanks” for helping

Hi Gaya1239, I've responded to your direct message a couple of times, and I keep getting responses from you that you haven't heard from me. I'm not sure what's going on but I could really use the assistance. You asked what operating system I am using, and I replied telling you that I use Windows 11 and also a Mac M1 Sonoma and asked if you could send reset instructions for both operating systems please.
