HP OfficeJet Pro 8620

I am trying to set up a brand new HP OfficeJet Pro 8620.  I took it out of the box and removed all packaging.  I installed the Duplex attachment on the back.

 

The Setup wizard now asks me to install the Setup Cartridges, but they were removed from the box.  I tried various steps like pressing Back or Home 4 times, or holding the Power button, but these have no effect on the 8620 at this menu.

I see that you are facing an issue with your Printer.

 

I've sent you a private message with the instructions to setup the printer without using the setup ink cartridges.

 

In order to access your private messages, Click the Private message icon on the upper right corner of your HP Community profile Next, to your profile Name, you should see a little blue envelope, please click on it or simply click on this link

Thank you for following up @Irwin6  - unfortunately I'm stuck on step 1 of the provided instructions.

 

None of the buttons around the screen do anything at all, including the Return icon.  The menus I have after I power the printer on, are to set the Date, then after that the Time, then installing the Duplexer, and then installing the Setup cartridges.  At none of those screens can I do anything except continue, or for the last 2 click a button that shows a tutorial video.  When the tutorial videos are playing, the "back" button works.  But when I'm not in those videos, pushing it does nothing.

 

Hope that is clear, let me know what else you might need.
