Hello, I received this old printer (8720) and I immediately reset the settings to factory default. Then I added the printer on my HP Smart Windows APP, and from the built-in display I activated the web services. The activation went ok, a page was printed with email address and printer code.

Unfortunately, my device does not appear on my web account dashboard, hence I can't change the email address. I was told that I needed to activate the Instant Ink in order to get things properly done (weird), but even after that the printer still does not appear. It seems that old printers, connected to hpeprint services, could not be "moved" to the new hp smart environment. Is that so? Or there's something missing?

Hi @caravinoloco,

Yes, older printer may not be able to work with new HP dashboard, only new printer models.

But you can try to add from the next link:
