I have purchased a number of print cartridges for this machine as standby for our school going children, a few for each colour.

Cartridge Models:-

C, M & Y - 955, 955XL,

Black- 955,955XL, 959XL

They are shown inside cartridge bay itself beside Product No. D9L20A

 

But just recently, the machine does not accept those cartridges anymore when I tried to change an empty Cyan cartridge, The LCD display mentions "An older generation cartridges is detected".

 

I have tried to reach out to HP on this issue to highlight financial loss from the their un-announced change for a few months already in their web interface but the process was going round and round and never been solved until now.

 

The machine I purchased was quite expensive and I feel very unfairly treated by HP. Anyone encountered the same problem as me?
