We have a user with an HP OfficeJet Pro 9010 and we need to add it to our print server.
I downloaded the install file from the support.hp.com/us-en/drivers page and it runs on Windows 10, but won't run on our server, which is Windows Server 2012 R2.
It gives this error: This computer does not meet the following system requirement(s): The Operating System of this computer is not supported.
On the drivers page on support.hp.com, I told it that my OS was 2012 R2 and it offers two files. I tried both and both give the same error when installing.
What can I do? No install CD came with the printer. And the HP website doesn't offer any other driver packages to download.

Hi,
Please carefully go through the steps, all the information is listed on how to extract the drivers and how to install them, the information just needs to be followed...
Step one: Copy the driver and software files >> Method two: Copy files from the web pack
Additionally, you may launch the run dialog (Press the Windows Logo + R Keys at the same time).
Type %temp% and press OK
Find the latest / newest installation folder, which starts with 7z (e.g. 7z1234s) and open it, this is the extracted installation package instead of using any unarchive program.
Once extracting the drivers, then go through Step two: Create a command to select features and customize the installation to install the actual software.

Hi,
On server operating systems, the same installation being used but it must be installed using the command line using an MSIEXEC command, it cannot be installed by following the graphical installation wizard.
Please follow the Customize the installation' section below, that will guide you on how to install the software on a server from the command line:
https://support.hp.com/gb-en/document/c03351547
Although your printer model is not listed in the document, the same steps apply for your printer model too.

I see those instructions, and I could run it as a command if I had an msi file, but I don't have one.
I downloaded the file called OJP9010_Full_WebPack_49.3.4475.exe. (Also tried the Basic one.)
The driver files on HP's website for the OfficeJet Pro 9010 are all .exe files. I can't extract them anywhere and get an msi file or any drivers. All i can do is run them, and that's when they do the check for OS and fail. Where can I get the file they say to use that I can extract and get an msi file?
Thanks.
