Pretty bad practice here from what I can tell but is there a way to put a settings admin password? Pretty standard feature. Can't seem to find it in the settings? Cheers for any help provided.

@ackerZ, Welcome to the HP Support Community!
Yes, you may assign an admin lock on the printer if required.
To do so, obtain the IP address of the printer by tapping on the wireless icon
Enter the IP address in the address bar of a browser.
If you get a security notification, go to advanced and click on proceed to the site.
Go to Settings > Security > Password settings
The easier option is to assign a password to your network that you do not share. This is the password you use to log into your home network. Without the ability to access your network, users cannot get into the network (computers, printer, router).
Hope this helps! Keep me posted.
