Hi @Clif1939,

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

It sounds like your HP OfficeJet 8015 printer needs to be reconnected to your new router. Here’s a step-by-step guide to help you resolve the issue.

Reconnect Printer to Wi-Fi Network

Reset Network Settings on Printer:

  • On the printer's control panel, tap on the Wireless icon.
  • Go to Settings (gear icon) and select Network Setup.
  • Choose Restore Network Settings to reset the network configuration.

Connect to New Network:

  • Go back to the Wireless menu.
  • Select Wireless Setup Wizard.
  • The printer will search for available networks. Select your new router's SSID (network name).
  • Enter your Wi-Fi password when prompted and follow the on-screen instructions to complete the setup.

Update Printer Software

Download HP Smart App:

  • Ensure you have the latest version of the HP Smart app on your computer or mobile device.
  • Download it from the HP Smart website or your device’s app store.

Add Printer:

  • Open the HP Smart app and click on Add Printer.
  • The app should find your printer on the new network. Follow the instructions to add it.

Check for Firmware Updates

  1. Update Printer Firmware:
    • Go to the HP Support website.
    • Search for your printer model and download any available firmware updates.
    • Follow the instructions to install the update.

Troubleshoot Connection Issues

Check Router Settings:

  • Ensure that your router is functioning correctly and that other devices can connect to it.
  • Check if your router has any specific settings or restrictions that might be blocking the printer.

Restart Devices:

  • Restart your router, printer, and computer or mobile device.
  • Sometimes a fresh start can resolve connectivity issues.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
