HP OfficePro 9015e

Got New HP Office Pro 9015e All-in-One Printer.  Previous Printer OJ Pro 6978.  To my amazment, when I went to Fax...clicked SEND NOW...I the Printers display monmentarily display a Fax Display, I heard the Dailing, fax Tone, then the Printers Display panel went back to HOME screen.Rather than the Display screen as ALL fax machines I have ever used....display the Fax progress....ie; Connecting\Connected...sending pages 1...etc...the 9015e merely displays the Home screen.  Again, I had no way to tell if the fax was even getting sent other than a few minutes later the fax Receipt printed showing it was sent.  I even tried to find a display screen that would allow me to check in on the progress and or cancel...Nothing.  This goes for Incoming Faxes; Display shows incoming Fax number, decline or accept...once I clicked accept, the 9015e screen went back to its Home screen.  Here again I had no way to see\tell if fax was being received sucessfully...other than minutes later when pages begain to print out.  How in the world would HP design a Fax that the User had no way to see the progress of sending or receing a fax?  So, did i miss a setting to display Fax Progress?  Or, did HP make a decision that fax progress was no longer important?
