HP Officejet 250 Mobile
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Dear HP,

We have a customer with a HP Officejet 250 Mobile printer. They connect with their office desktop (windows 7) with rdp.

The local installed printer gets redirected to their rpd session

Locally they can print fine but from the RDP session they only print black lines, no recognisable character/images.

So far we tried all the driver variants, full package on both sides, the basic driver on both sides, the basic driver for it professionals too but all the same result. As a last resort we tried the HP universal driver but that didnt even work locally...

How can we make sure that the printer will work from the RDP session?

I saw some other threads about other printers with the advice to use some other model but i am not sure what other model driver we should use (and if that would help with this at all)

I have exactly the same problem. Contacted HP support and been told they cannot help me except if I pay for a premium support service. What a scam! You sell a product, you should provide proper service for it.

Please help! 😡
