Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I just replaced the color cartridges in my printer but cannot get it to print in color.  A long time ago I changed settings to black and white, how can I reverse that?

First try a resetting the printer and the computer can help resolve error conditions.

  1. With the printer turned on, disconnect the power cord from the printer.
  2. Unplug the power cord from the power source.
  3. Wait 60 seconds.
  4. Reconnect the power cord to a wall outlet and to the printer.
    note:
    HP recommends plugging the printer directly into a wall outlet.
You can print in color now?

That did not work. I even uninstalled and re-installed printer with CD disk. Still won't print in color! And I'm very upset because it looks like I wasted my money on buying new color cartridges when I will probably have to buy a new printer! And it won't be HP brand!
