I am having difficulty with my printer. I have an OfficeJet 8610 that has worked great for a number of years. The other day it was acting up so I figured I would do a reset on it. Upon doing so I have been unable to complete the initialization of the printer. I set the time and date and then it comes to a screen where it says "Install the cartridges that came with your printer". Unfortunately, I no longer have these and installing printer cartridges does not throw an error, it just stays on the "Install the cartridge" screen. I have searched on the internet and through these forums and it it talks about overriding with OOBE resets. However, I can no longer even get into the Setup menu. I tried pressing where the back button is 4 times as i saw in some videos (and what I did to initially reset the printer that got me to this point) but it is unresponsive and nothing happens. Are there any additional remedies that I can try? Or do I have a rather large paper weight on my hands now?
Thank you in advance for your time and assistance. Any help or pointers would be greatly appreciated

Thanks GOLD_MASTER for your reply. I followed the link you provided and opened a support request a few days ago and unfortunately have not received a call or email back yet. My product is obviously out of warranty but it is slightly concerning that I have been unable to find a remedy to my issue or been able to get in contact with someone that can provide documentation. I went through the debugging steps to try and initialize the printer again after a reset and no longer can get into the support menu. If folks have any other suggestion I would appreciate any input or feedback. Otherwise I will probably just write this printer off as a loss and go purchase a replacement. Based on this experience though I may look at manufacturers other than HP though. Thank you again for your time and assistance.
