Software Version:  040.012.1161.1896

Printer Driver Version:  20.79.01.6733

 

When I open the Scan Software,  in "More" / "Destination" / "PDF" the option for IHQC is missing. 

 

I checked the version of the driver and it's updated.

 

Do you know what is the problem? this option is very important for smaller siize file when scanning documents.

Hi,

This is likely a software problem and reinstalling the HP Software should probably resolve it.

 

From the Start menu select Settings (The gear icon) and click on Apps.

From the shown list, locate and uninstall the HP Officejet Pro 7740 Basic Device Software.

 

Now reinstall the latest software and check for any difference:

https://ftp.hp.com/pub/softlib/software13/printers/OJ7740/OJ7740_Full_WebPack_40.12.1161.exe
