HP Officejet Pro 8620 e-All-in-One Printer
Microsoft Windows 11

Hello,

I recently ran into an issue with my HP Officejet Pro 8620 printer. It randomly popped up with a printer failure message that says there is a problem with the printer or ink system. I have tried turning it on and off. It then prompted me to contact HP support with the error code but there is none provided.

I have tried cleaning the print head, wiping down the ink cartridges, performing a hard reset, and updating the printer driver.

As far as I know, the printer is pretty old and out of warranty. Any help would be appreciated, thanks.

Hi @djsp1n_d4t

Please follow steps from the next video to clean printer head:

After cleaning the printer head, insert ink cartridges and check if printer is working.

If that doesn't work then you could try with a new printer head, maybe searching on online shops like Armazon, where you can get it.

But be aware that getting new parts for an old printer,  means that you could spend more time and money on printer parts, rather than go directly to buy a new printer, the final decision is up to you.
