Hello, 

 

All of the functions except scanning have been disabled on my HP Officejet Pro 8620.  I tried going to Setup- Network Setup; but I get the message, "Built-in network capabilities have been disabled. Contact your administrator or the person who set up the printer." 

I have also turned off my router, computer, and printer, waited 60 seconds; but this message still comes up.

Please provide guidance so that I may use my printer.

I understand you are not able to make changes to the printer settings. We need to perform a factory reset on the printer to resolve this issue. 

  • The reset instructions are specific for your printer and performing those steps on a different printer may corrupt the device.
  • I've sent you a private message with reset instructions, follow the reset instruction to perform a full reset and re-initialize the printer.
