HP Recommended

I have the HP Office Jet Pro 9120e series serial # (edited). Ii will not let me go any farther at the point of showing firmware updates on the control panel, it indicates to choose either, Auto Recommended or Notify and then it says save. But nothing happens when I click on save. Help  me, and  please do not suggest some lengthy link to solve the horrible problem that everyone is having. Edited.
