HP Officejet Pro e-All-in-One Printer - N911a

I have owned the all-in-one device for many years and it still works properly. Nevertheless, for the past year or so the desktop software for the device will not start under Windows 10 64-bit. I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling the suite multiple times and I have followed all instructions and tips. I have uninstalled fully all HP software, printer drivers, cleaned registry entries, deleted HP folders, uninstalled Adobe Reader, disabled antivirus and installed again from scratch using the latest software pack from the website of HP. I have even reinstalled windows a few months ago to install a new SSD. Still the same. I can scan or print using the printer menus or by sending the print to the device, I can print over the network but the software suite will not start. Windows full updated, plenty of space on the hard drive, enough memory, no other issues, I tried installing the device from USB or WiFi.
