Product: HP Officejet 6500A e-All-in-One Printer - E710a

Set up new  HP Pavilion Laptop PC with office jet printer. PC recognises printer scans to computer no problem. when I set a print job, all i get is one page with one line printed:

HP-PCL XL; 3;0 Comment copyright 2022 Hp Development Company,LP

then numerous blank pages fly through until stopped.

the printer still works fine when attached to my old Dell PC
