HP OfficeJet Pro 8710 All-in-One Printer
macOS 12.0 Monterey

I have been facing a recent problem after updating to Mac OS Monterrey on HP 8710 printer. The printer has a solid WIFI Connection but my Macbook running MAC OS Monterrey won't print. I get the error - Unable to get Printer Status. 

 

If I fire up the HP Smart App and start a scan, I get the following error "Scanner reported an error". 

 

If I start a print job from my iPhone running IOS 15.x, I get an error "Printer is not available" 

 

Restarting the printer does not help. I have tried updating the drivers and reinstalling the printer but it has not helped.
