My printer keeps printing BLANK PAGES. It prints the Test Page after Alignment and Head Cleaning Fine. When I go to Print a Word doc, it just spits out a BLANK PAGE.

The cartridges are full and brand new. I've tried my old half empty cartridges as well.

I've tried all the below steps multiple times already, and I am out of ideas or any solutions online.

Check ink levels: Ensure that your ink cartridges have enough ink to print. Low ink levels can sometimes cause blank pages. You can check the ink levels through the printer's control panel or via the HP Smart app.

Clean the printhead: Over time, the printhead may become clogged with dried ink, which can result in blank pages. Most HP printers have a built-in printhead cleaning utility that you can access through the printer's settings menu. Run the printhead cleaning utility to see if it resolves the issue.

Align the printhead: Sometimes, misalignment of the printhead can cause blank pages. Many HP printers have an automatic printhead alignment feature that you can access through the printer's settings menu. Run the printhead alignment utility to ensure that the printhead is properly aligned.

Check for driver updates: Ensure that your printer drivers are up to date. Outdated drivers can sometimes cause printing issues. You can download the latest drivers from the HP website or through the HP Smart app.

Restart the printer: Sometimes, simply restarting the printer can resolve temporary issues. Turn off the printer, unplug it from the power source, wait for a few minutes, then plug it back in and turn it on again.

Perform a factory reset: As a last resort, you can try performing a factory reset on the printer to restore it to its original settings. Keep in mind that this will erase any custom settings you have configured on the printer. Refer to your printer's user manual for instructions on how to perform a factory reset.

To add:

When I go to HP Smart app, Printer Reports and Press the following:

"Print Diagnostic Information"

or

"Print Quality Report"

It prints a page with Blue, Yellow, ad Magenta Blocks. I don't see any blank ink on these pages.

I downloaded the HP PRINT AND SCAN DOCTOR Program.

Ran the test and it said it fixed some problems.

Printed the Test Page, and the string of characters at the top of the test page, printed in a very faint Grey. The Program says the Text is supposed to look sharp and dark.

The Dark Black Color Bar is completely missing from the Test Page. The Dark Black Lines are completely missing from the Test page.

Sorry to see you have had problems obtaining any feedback on your problem. Please keep in mind that this forum is not a direct connection to HP support and is strictly a user to user support group where people volunteer their time to help out. That said, I looked over your previous posts and unless I missed something, it will print sometimes but other times not or with very poor quality. If you have gone through all the cleaning cycles and the quality is still bad, that might be a sign of issue with the print cartridges. Make sure that the contacts on the end of the cartridge are clean and also the ones in the print cartridge carrier. Ink spill on the contacts can cause all sorts of issues.

How long have you had your printer? If still under warranty, this is not the correct forum, you should be creating a support case at support.hp.com. If the printer is out of warranty then your options are to try another set of cartridges or gently press the printhead against a damp link free cloth for a couple of minutes to try and loosen any clogging. The printhead itself is on the bottom of the ink cartridge.

If you find the information provided useful or solves your problems, help other users find the solution easier by marking my post as an accepted solution. Clicking "yes" on "was this reply helpful" also increases the chances that this solution will help others.
