I recently updated my PC to Windows 11. Everything works perfectly so far and even faster. However, I can no longer get my printer, an HP PSC 1210, to work properly. It can print, but it can no longer scan. Windows also indicates "Driver is unavailable." In Device Manager, I see the printer listed as "HP Print Device" with a question mark as the icon, and also "PSC 1200 Series" with both a question mark and an exclamation mark. I've googled extensively and tried many solutions but haven't found a fitting one. Windows Update also doesn’t detect the printer. Any ideas or solutions from someone that has fixed this issue.

I had the same problem and since today I can scan again with my PSC1210 under Win 11 and Win 10, because I was using only Win 7 till now.
Under Win 11, you only have to choose using Windows update for searching a new driver and then you have to download the Scanner app from MS-Store, no more using the HP scan app
