Product: HP Photosmart 8250
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

A workable solution HP Photosmart 8250 Windows 10 Driver, given  April 2019 gives a URL https://support.hp.com/us-en/drivers/selfservice/hp-photosmart-8200-printer-series/443048 which shows the driver. When chosen it has no download option. At a site showing compatible printers with Windows 10  https://support.hp.com/us-en/document/c04658195 it is shown as being available.

Hi,

Your printer drivers are available via Windows Update.

 

Follow the below steps to install the printer:

https://support.hp.com/us-en/document/c01796879

 

If that fails, manually install the driver from the Microsoft Update Catalog:

http://download.windowsupdate.com/msdownload/update/driver/drvs/2013/01/20054804_b05f17ab27e43fd4c87...

 

You may follow the below steps to install the drivers:

https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/323166/how-to-download-updates-that-include-drivers-and-hot...

 

You may either extract the file using the expand command, or any unarchive utility such as Winrar or 7Z.
