Product: HP Photosmart C410
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)
I received a new HP Elitebook from my employer and I cannot get the printer driver installed. I have HP smart installed and the printer is recognised and ink levels are for example indicated. However when trying to add the driver via HP smart and consequently via the windows add printer, the printer is identified, the install process started... with in the end the message that installation was unsuccesfull.
I also tried drivers (exe. files) I found on the web, but they all open in HP smart.
The previous laptop was also HP and I was able to print. (set up should have been the same as the new laptop).
My private Imac works as well, as does eprinting via Iphone.
