Product: HP Photosmart C4680
Operating System: macOS 10.15 Catalina

My HP Photosmart 4680 stopped printing.  I have re-downloaded the drivers, but it does not help.  I have tried HP Smart, but that app cannot find the printer -- though it is connected by a USB cable -- and it does not seem to support the printer.  I have tried a different USB cable, different USB port on the computer and different computer.  The printer no longer works on any of them.  The error message is mostly that the computer is unable to communicate with the printer.  Thanks for your help.

I have the same thing happening with my HP Photosmart D110.  As of 10/23 it just stopped working, and uninstalling/reinstalling driver does work.  If HP doesn't figure this out there will be a lot of people looking for new printers that are NOT HP.
