This printer is a few years old past down from my dad. It hasn't been used in a while and wants to do a onetime initialization. However, every time it tries to initialize it gets an ink system failure 0xc18a2c02. I have bought a new set of ink cartridges because the previous ones were old, however, it still gets the same error.
If anyone has any advice on how to get this thing working again, it would be appreciated.

Thank you for your reply. However, I am unable to connect to the printer because it does not show up on the network and I cannot get the IP of the printer when connected to ethernet. I also cannot get the IP through the printer interface because of the one-time initialization. Additionally, the introductory cartridges are running low on ink but I can't swap them out for the carriages I bought because the printer tells me to use the introductory cartridges.
