HP Photosmart D110 all-in-one
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I started having problems with my HP Photosmart D110 all-in-one printer--print queue would no longer clear between print jobs, nor could I "cancel" the print job that had already printed (it remained in queue). I would have to reboot printer each time I wanted to print new document, and then it would first print the document that I had already printed. yesterday, I tried uninstalling the printer, and then downloading and installing the full software package for this printer from the HP website. Now when I print, the print queue is clearing but it takes ages to print a document--it sounds like it is printing letter by letter! Also, the color ink is no longer showing up accurately, if at all--I'm just getting a lot of yellow. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling 3 or 4 times to see if I could resolve, and chose both the "print wirelessly" and the "print via ethernet cable" options, to see if that would make a difference (it didn't). I'm running Windows 10 Home, 64-bit OS. I also have an external monitor connected to my laptop and use it as a single monitor set up, rather than as dual monitors. I'm not tech savvy. Can anyone assist?

Welcome to the HP Support Community.

Are the copies coming out well?

Try a firmware update: https://support.hp.com/in-en/document/c02919168

Let's try to do a root uninstall and reinstall of the software:

Unplug any USB cable, if any, before doing this.

1.) In Windows, search for and open Programs and features

2.) Select your HP Printer

3.) Select Uninstall

4.) In Windows, search for and open Devices and printers

5.) In the Devices and Printers windows look for your HP printer. If you see it listed right-click on it and choose 'Delete' or 'Remove Device'

6.) Open up the run command with the "Windows key + R" key combo.

7.) Type printui.exe /s and click Ok. (Note: there is a space in between “printui.exe” and “/s”)

8.) Click on the "Drivers" tab

9.) Look for HP Printer driver. If you see it Click on it and click Remove at the bottom

10.) Select Ok

11.) Select Apply and Ok on the Print Server Properties windows

12.) Close Devices and Printers

13.) Open up the run command with the "Windows key + R" key combo

14.) Type c:/programdata and click Ok. Go to Hewlett Packard folder, remove any printer related folders & files.

15.) Restart the computer.

Once done, please download and install the software from here:

Let me know if this helps.
