HP Photosmart Plus B209 - connecting to macOS

Hi, I'm trying to set up my printer to print from my new mac airbook which has big sur v11 operating system on.    The printer used to work fine with my old mac - I backed up the old computer onto the new one.   When I try and print I can see a message that says "missing USB class driver" and nothing will print out

I've tried to find printer drivers on the HP site to re install onto the computer but can't find a version for this printer suitable for this mac

Does anyone have suggestions please on how I can resolve this and get my printer printing?

Hi,

Try following below version of the HP Easy Start Utility:

As soon as you open HP Easy Start, click the top HP Easy Start menu and select Uninstall HP Software...
Read any warnings that display, and then click Continue. When prompted, type your administrator user name and password and follow the steps on screen.
Click Set Up New Device, and then follow the instructions to reinstall your printer with HP Easy Start and check if that may work.

If you experience any issues, open HP Easy Start again, from the HP Easy Start menu select Preferences.
Click on HP Easy Start.log and the log folder will launch, please reply me back via a Private Message with the log content attached, please clarify if you may not able to access private messaging.
