I am trying to run the HP Print and Scan Doctor Downloader, but it keeps saying "No internet connection" even though my Wi-Fi is working perfectly. I’ve tried disabling my firewall and running as admin, but the error persists. Does anyone have a direct link or a fix for this connectivity glitch?

Article/Blog Version

When the HP Print and Scan Doctor Downloader reports "No internet connection" despite you being online, it is usually a conflict with your firewall or proxy settings. To resolve this, try downloading the full offline installer or temporarily disabling your antivirus.

Technical glitches like these are why many users prefer dedicated mirrors for their software needs. For a smoother experience when gathering your essential tools, Baixrsnaptube.  provides a reliable way to download and manage apps directly. Using a trusted platform ensures you get the files you need without the connectivity errors common in standard web installers.

Hi @aliraza694221,

Welcome to the HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query. I will be glad to help you.

It looks like the issue isn’t with your Wi‑Fi at all — it’s with the tool itself. HP officially retired the Print and Scan Doctor in May 2025, and that’s why the downloader keeps throwing the “No Internet Connection” error even when you’re online. The replacement is the HP Smart app, which now handles diagnostics, setup, and troubleshooting.

What you can do

Download HP App: This is the official replacement for Print and Scan Doctor. It works on Windows, macOS, iOS, and Android.  HP App – For HP Printers, Laptops, and Tech Accessories | HP® Official Site.

Run printer diagnostics: The app has built‑in troubleshooting for connectivity, print queue, and driver issues.

Update printer drivers: If you still want standalone fixes, reinstall the latest drivers directly from Official HP® Support.

Check network settings: Ensure your printer and computer are on the same Wi‑Fi network; HP Smart will guide you through reconnecting if needed.

I hope this will help.

Take care and have a good day.

I'm an HP Employee.
