HP Printer Assistant is not there

I been working on my printer issues for over 7 hours of not printing at first then not scanning cause of "scan software not found" and my laptop wasn't listed on the "scan to" menu on the printer little screen, of course HP printer and scan was no help what so ever. I uninstalled and re-installed HP driver for my printer but counld't get pass number 2. However by magic, i manage to fix everything and the printer seems to be at working state. But one issue i can't figure out, where is HP Printer Assistant? Somewhere down the line the full feature software and drivers file won't install HP Printer Assistant. It's missing, there no icon or even when i search for it on my laptop, it still won't appear anywhere. I would love to just open that up to easliy scan stuff to my my laptop, but i can't since its gone and i can't find it. Is there anyway i can download HP Printer Assistant to use without re-installing the full feature software and drivers file again. Plz i finally got everything to work, i just don't want it to get messed up again

Okay through some good digging and i find a forum site with someone asking the same problem and i got my answer by going to control panel then Devices and Printers. i just need to open the printer and shortcut HP Printer Assistant. sorry for the post, also i don't know how to delete it... so i guess the mods will take care of it.
