Envy 5660
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

After a recent Windows 10 update, I could no longer print to my HP Envy 5660.  I followed the instructions on the HP support site for uninstalling and reinstalling my printer and drivers.  I can now print to my printer, but when I click on my printer icon to open the HP Printer Assistant, I get the window to connect to a new printer.  I have followed the instruction on the HP support site for fixing this problem (reconnect to the printer, turn off the printer, restart the computer, turn on the printer), but I continue to have the problem.  I use the HP Printer Assistant frequently to scan multiple page PDF documents and am looking for a way to get the HP Printer Assistant working again or for another application that will allow me to scan multiple page PDF documents.

After posting this, I found a post which said to restart after uninstalling and before reinstalling.  I did that, and this time my uninstall and install resulted in the HP Printer Assistant working once again.
