HP Printer Assistant software always opens in full-screen mode

HP Recommended

I can't believe this post. For one, it is NOT solved, the proposed solution does not work, so how can it be marked solved?? Absolutely incredible and a perfect example of failure of this forum. Two, this has been a persistent issue going back past 2016 and still HP refuses to address it. It is extremely annoying to have the HP Printer Assistant open full screen when you wish to use or communicate (scan, fax, special print, copy) with your printer. Just Google it and see how many people are annoyed at this behavior.

HP - grow up and fix it!

@CopperShine

I have brought your issue to the attention of an appropriate team within HP.

They will likely request information from you in order to look up your case details or product serial number

Please look for a private message from an identified HP contact.

Additionally, keep in mind not to publicly post personal information (serial numbers and case details).

Thank you for visiting the HP Support Community.
