Product: HP ENVY Photo 7855
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I down loaded the latest HP update to the HP ENVY Photo 7855 printer, and now the HP Printer Assistant indicates that  "The computer is unable to establish a two way communication with the device"  The HP Smart will work.

To assist you better, are you trying to print or scan?

If you are able to use the printer via the HP Smart app, why do you require the printer assistant?

 

If you are facing issues with the printer assistant, reinstall it.
