In the preboot menu scroll down to Administrator -> Manage disks -> Boot device and run Erase unlock after that go back to Administrator- >Dovload -> USB Thumbdrive and download firmware from USB

i did many times but still have the same message.
when I click on erase/unlock, it executes in less than a millisecond, hard to believe that the command is executed. Is it possible to try to format the HDD elsewhere and come and install it to see if that's the problem??

The disk is encrypted if you connect it a computer and manage to format it you will get a plain hdd. Did you run partitial clean and format from preboot those are quick?
When you go to Download - USB Thumbdrive the firmware is recognized for that printer model and you can run it?
