Hey there,

I have a recurring problem with different HP printer models (P4015, M601 etc.). We print via using a website API and for some reason some of the printers keep grabbing the paper from the wrong tray. Earlier this was done via a cloud server but now the prompts are handled directly on a client PC. The old printing queues had the exact same configs as these newer local queues and no local settings on the printers have been changed. Tray 2 has plain normal A4 paper and tray 3 has pre-filled form papers, but for some reason the printers keep printing from tray 3. I have tried setting the tray 2 queue paper type to plain and locally setting the printers config tray 2 to use plain paper too but to no avail. Printing a Windows test page directly to the queue from the client computer works fine as it should but for some reason printing via our app it always keeps pulling paper from tray 3.

Tray 2 papers are .pdf and tray 3 papers are coming from external server via PCL 5. I am using a universal PCL 5 driver.

Any ideas?
