HP SMART CANNOT BE MOVED TO TASKBAR IN WINDOWS 10

I have HP Smart App installed and shows up ONLY in my Win 10 Apps & Features.  I've tried dragging to my desktop or taskbar and it does not work.  I've tried right clicking the icon and telling it to add to taskbar but, again, nothing happens.  I use this app all thde time and it is frustrating that I must uninstall then reinstall this app to get it working.

ANY AND ALL HELP GREATLY APPRECIATED!!!

Try / Consider

Add the HP Smart app to the Taskbar from within Windows Start > All Apps

General Example - Windows Start > All Apps > find HP Smart

Right-Click on the app listing > Pin to Taskbar

If the app shows that it is pinned -- but it is not actually pinned so you can see it,

Try the Unpin > Close Windows Start > Open it again and repeat the process.

If the HP Smart application itself is constantly hanging, balking, or not working,

Try the Reset as shown in the example.

Resetting the app removes the app's data from within your user account.

Restart the computer and log in

Open HP Smart > Sign in > Add Printer(s)

If the app Reset does not work by itself,

Next,

Uninstall the HP Smart App from Settings > Apps > Apps and Features / Installed Apps

Restart the computer and log in

“Get” a new copy of the HP Smart application from the Microsoft Store

Open HP Smart > Sign in > Add Printer(s)
