Using HP Smart. Trying to scan a paper.
It asks me to login or create a user. I don't understand why.
When I press the LOGIN I'm getting an error message:
I'm not using any VPN.
Any hint?

1. This is a home printer.
2. The wireless light is steady.
I can print on this printer using other applications.
The problem is with HP SMART that any function I try (such as SCAN) I am requested to enter my userid. The problem is that it connects me to 404 page.

Try the below suggestions-
1)Uninstall HP Smart
2)Install all the available Windows updates
If it is been a while since you updated your Windows, that is the main reason why Windows says your HP printer driver is unavailable. Here are the steps on how to do a Windows Update to install all accessible operating system update.
If you are accessing Windows 10, then these steps are for you.
- Hit the Start menu and write an update. After that, click on the “Check for updates” option.
- Tap on the “Check for updates” option.
- After clicking on that option, Windows will install the updates automatically.
- When Windows completes all its updates, start your computer again and attempt to print a file to check if your printer works.
3) try updating the printer's firmware - HP Printers - Updating or Upgrading Printer Firmware
4)Reinstall HP Smart from windows store.

Hi,
It doesn't help.
The problem is not with the connection between the PC and the printer.
The problem is with the HP SMART software which asks me to register/sign in to your site but when I press the "sign in" button I'm getting the following error message:
1. Why do I need to sign in?
2. Why do HP SMART fails to sign me in?
