What has happened to the HP Smart App? Starting approximately three months ago, attempts to launch HP Smart results in a blank app screen and the printer controls never appear. I have uninstalled the app, drivers and removed the printer. Reinstalling doesn't help. A review of other posts with suggested steps to resolve the issue has not helped.

  • Ensure that your display settings do not have any scaling issues:
    • Right-click on the desktop and select Display settings.
    • Make sure Scale and layout settings are set to Recommended.

7. Run HP Print and Scan Doctor:

8. Clean Install:

  • Perform a clean install of the HP Smart App:

Kuroi_Kenshi, the steps provided did not help. My desktop is running Windows 10 Enterprise, version 22H2, build, 19045.5670. The app was working flawlessly up until approximately two months ago. No matter how or how many times I uninstall and re-install the app, the first screen appears to acknowledge app activity, once accepted, the screen stays blank.
