Hello,

 

I purchased a new iPhone 14 Pro Max and transferred over all of my apps/etc from my previous phone. Upon opening/setting up the HP Smart app on my new phone, I am no longer able to use the scan from camera option. When choosing to scan by camera, all I see is a black screen. The camera has permission to be used by the app, so I am not sure why it is giving me a black screen. I see someone had posted about the same issue and had resolved it themselves, but did not provide details as to how they resolved it.  I use the scan from phone for work, so any help as quickly as possible would be greatly appreciated.

I was able to fix this in my 14 promax.

I removed the ho smart app, closed all the background apps and force shutdown the iPhone. Then switched on the phone and got the ho smart app from AppStore. Then the camera scan worked. Hope this is helpful.
