HP Smart Country error

I used to live in Belgium but have now moved to France. I need to set up HP smart for France. I contacted HP Belgium and they deleted everything from Belgium. I was given service client HP [edited]. I have since registered in France and installed HP Smart again. However, HP smart still thinks it is in Belgium

Thank you for sharing the case details. We would like to keep you updated that HP Support has already helped update your country settings from Belgium to France. Now that your HP account shows France correctly, you’re almost there — you just need to enroll your printer on the Instant Ink service for France using the HP Smart app.

Step 1: Open or Install the HP Smart App

• On your Windows PC, Mac, Android, or iOS device, open the HP Smart app.
• If you haven’t already, download it from: HP Smart - Free download and install on Windows | Microsoft Store
   

Step 2: Sign in to Your Updated HP Account

• Tap the Account icon in the top right corner.
• Sign in using the HP account that’s now registered with your France address.

Step 3: Add Your Printer

• Tap the + (plus) icon to add your printer if it’s not already listed.
• Make sure the printer is connected to the same Wi-Fi network as your device.

Step 4: Enroll in Instant Ink

• In the HP Smart app:
  • Tap your printer > look for Instant Ink.
  • Tap Join Now / Enroll.
• Follow the on-screen instructions to choose your Instant Ink plan and enter your France shipping address for cartridges.

📦 Once enrolled, HP will ship your Instant Ink cartridges directly to your new address in France — you’ll only be charged based on the plan you select.
