HP Color LaserJet Pro MFD M280
macOS 11.0 Big Sur

I have a Color LaserJet MFD which has been working fine - until I upgraded my iMac to Big Sur. Cue printer not responding/offline. To date, I have followed other forum messages and solutions, and tried resetting my printer system within Printers & Scanners so have deleted any printer; I have uninstalled all HP products and downloaded both HP Start and HP Easy Start and also checked I have the latest versions of any drivers, firmware and software updates.

On the printer, I have used the Wireless SetUp Wizard to ensure it is connected to the same wifi network as all my other devices.

But, when I try to install the printer:

 - on HP Start it says that the printer is offline and will only invite me to Add Another Printer

 - on Easy Start, it finds the device but then won't go beyond the 'gathering device information' with the blue wheel, after which it says it is "Unable to communicate with the device" and to Try Again after checking connections and turning the printer off and on again - which I have done multiple times!

 - on Add Printer within Printer & Scanners, it comes up in the list as a Bonjour Multifunct device but when I click to Add using Secure AirPrint (same too if I try AirPrint), I get a message saying "Unable to verify the printer on your network...unable to connect to HP etc due to an error. Would you still like to connect the printer?" If I say yes, and click continue, I eventually get the message "An error occurred while trying to add the selected device. Unable to communicate with the printer at this time".

Please help! This is driving me mad and to make matters worse, the printer is now not printing from my laptop either, which hasn't been upgraded to Big Sur but now just states that printer is not responding or is offline, when it's saying it's Ready. Grrrrr.

Thanks in advance
