HP Smart Installer

I need to know if there is another way to get an installer. As Microsoft store has been blocked by us for security reasons, so we are unable to install HP Smart.

We manage the installations of applications by adding them to our software center. Is it possible we could get an installer that we could add to our software center?

Welcome to the HP Community --

In so much that I am aware, No - there is not an alternative to installing HP Smart other than using the App Store.

Should your IT department be willing (and able) to do so, perhaps they can install the applications for the users.    That said, there are cases where the application might need to be uninstalled / reinstalled to resolve issues -- even were IT able and willing to take on the task of installing the application, asking IT to take on this responsibility for five users is much different from expecting IT to take on this added burden for 200 users.

If your products and Operating System / versions support it, it is sometimes possible to use other Scan and Print applications and software.  HP Smart is clever -- perhaps it is not the only alternative.

For example, depending on the printer and the version of Windows, there might be a full driver printer software option.
