HP OfficeJet Pro 9025 All-in-One Printer
Microsoft Windows 11

Hi

I have 2 HP OfficeJet Pro printers listed in my HP Smart app. One printer is a model 9025 whereas the other is a 9022e.

My issue is that in HP Smart they are both listed as 'HP OfficeJet Pro 9020 series' so I cannot tell them apart! As these printers are used for very different tasks I would like to be able to rename them - is this possible? Thanks

Dave

Welcome to the HP Community Forum.

At this writing

HP Smart Mobile supports renaming the printer.

HP Smart Windows does not support the renaming option.

Yes, I understand --  not what we want.

What to do?

Maybe a "sticky" note placed where you can see it would help.

Leave the note up for a day or however long it takes to train your awareness.

Printer 1 of 2 = Charon Printer

Printer 2 of 2 = Titan Printer

Just writing the note might be enough - the action of writing down important information is a well known "train the brain" method.
