Hi ! I managed to install the HP SMART application works but the HP SMART PRINTING printer does not appear in the devices and printers, how can I make it appears ?

If the HP Smart Printing printer is not appearing in the Devices and Printers section, there are a few steps you can try to troubleshoot and resolve the issue.

 

Ensure Printer is Connected:

  • Make sure that your HP Smart Printing printer is properly connected to your computer via USB cable or is connected to the same Wi-Fi network.

Check Printer Power:

  • Ensure that the printer is powered on and not displaying any error messages or issues.

Restart the Printer:

  • Try restarting your HP Smart Printing printer. Sometimes, a simple power cycle can resolve connectivity issues.

Restart the Computer:

  • Restart your computer to refresh the system and see if the printer appears after the reboot.

Reinstall HP Smart App:

  • Uninstall the HP Smart application from your computer and then reinstall it. Make sure you download the latest version from the official HP website.

Update Printer Drivers:

  • Ensure that you have the latest printer drivers installed on your computer. You can usually download the latest drivers from the HP support website.

Check for Windows Updates:

  • Make sure your Windows operating system is up to date by checking for and installing any available updates.

Add Printer Manually:

  • If the printer still doesn't appear, you can try adding it manually.
    • Open the "Control Panel" on your computer.
    • Go to "Devices and Printers."
    • Click on "Add a printer" and follow the on-screen instructions to add your HP Smart Printing printer.
