@Buck555, Welcome to HP Support Community,

Thank you for posting your query; I’m here to help by guiding you through steps to resolve this issue

The HP Smart Tank 5000 printer supports manual duplex printing, which means you will need to manually reload the pages depending on how you would like the document printed. Here’s how you can access the duplex printing settings:

HP Smart App:

  • Open the HP Smart app on your device.
  • Select your printer and open the print settings page.
  • In the print settings, look for the "Duplex" option or "Two-Sided Printing" under "Print settings."
  • Follow the instructions provided in the app to complete the duplex printing.

Printer Control Center (via computer):

  • Open the document you'd like to print and select "Print" from the file menu.
  • In the print dialog, choose your HP Smart Tank 5000 printer.
  • Go to "Printer Properties" or "Preferences."
  • Look for options labeled "Printing Shortcuts" or "Finishing" to find the setting for "Two-Sided Printing."
  • Set it to manual and follow on-screen instructions for duplex printing.

I hope this helps.

Please feel free to reply here if you have any questions or if you need further clarification on any of the steps.

Take care and have a good day.
